We want shopping with us to be a simple and enjoyable experience, all the way from browsing our site to getting your order delivered. It is important for us that you feel safe when you make a purchase at Nordic Kind. Therefore we always follow the recommendations made by The Swedish Consumer Sales Act.

Terms of purchase

1. Products and prices

The images presented at each product is to be seen as illustrations and can not be guaranteed to reproduce the exact look. Colors may vary between different screens.

A purchase agreement is made between the customer and Nordic Design Collective / Designmarknaden i Sverige AB.

Your purchase is always made in Swedish Krona (SEK). However, you can choose to show the prices in other currencies. The exchange rate is updated daily. However, the exchange rate used by your bank or credit card holder may be different from the exchange rate used to display prices in our store. 

For EU residents, swedish tax (25%) is included in the prices. For non-EU residents, taxes or custom fees may be applied upon delivery by local custom authorities.

2. Returns and exchanges

We offer a 30 day return policy on your order, based on the date you received your product. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

You have the right to open the package to look at the goods. The item being returned must be unused, in full original packaging and undamaged. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Always contact us at info@nordickind.com before you return a product so we can provide you with the returnaddress. Do not forget to leave your order number for faster processing.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@nordickind.com to get further instructions.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

To return your product, you first get in touch with us at info@nordickind.com to get further instructions and address details.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

2.1 Custom made /customized products

According to Swedish law, products that are personalised, special made or customized after your requirements are generally non-refundable.

2.2 Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

2.3 Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

3. Complaints and exchanges

Please contact us at info@nordickind.com if you want to make a complaint. Do not forget to leave your order number for faster processing.

In cases you need to send a product back to us, we will provide you with the instructions and address for the return shipping.

If a refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

4. Payment

4.1 Creditcard

We are partnering with Mondido / Teller for creditcard payments, allowing for payments with VISA and Mastercard. When choosing to pay with your creditcard you will be redirected to a secure connection with Teller. We do not get access to any details or creditcard numbers. Mondido/Teller is an authorized payment provider and is handling the payment towards your bank. They are handling your creditcard information in accordance to the international security standard PCI DSS.

4.2 PayPal

We are partnering with Paypal for payments.

4.3 Invoice

We are partnering with Mondido / Collector bank to offer invoice in Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Collector's Invoice solution
In collaboration with Collector Bank AB, we offer invoice and instalment payments. When you select Invoice as payment method, you receive your goods before you pay. You can then choose to pay the whole amount at once or to break up the payments into smaller instalments.

You can only order for delivery to your registered address when you select invoice or instalment payment and you must be at least 18 years of age when you make the order. When you receive the invoice you can choose to pay instalments over up to 36 months by paying the lowest amount given in the invoice. When paying by instalments, interest of 19,9% is added.

A small credit test is carried out, which in some cases requires credit information. In the event of delayed or missed payments, an overdue fee and penalty interest is charged.

If you have paid the invoice but change your mind about the purchase you will receive a credit balance with Collector. For repayment of the credit we require contact and account details from you. 4.4 Swish and Direct Payment

We are partnering with Mondido to offer Swish and Direct Payments in Sweden.

5. Privacy

Nordic Design Collective will keep your personal information (email address, shipping address and name) in our customer database. No unauthorised person has access to this register. We never pass on your email address to any third party except to the companies that handles our payments.

You can always contact us at info@nordickind.com to change or delete your personal data.

6. Disputes

Our policy is to always follow the recommendation from Swedish General Complaints Board (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden), if there is a dispute with the customer.

7. Age

Nordic Kind only makes purchase agreement with adults. That means that you must be over 18 years of age to place an order.

8. Other

Nordic Kind reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, specifications and product offerings without prior notice. In case a product is out of stock at a given price or the item is deleted, Nordic Kind has the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid by customer.
